Minor project.....Major excitement!!

Remember this tacky looking thermostat box right in the middle of my "gallery wall" project wall..??

Decided to get started on some spray painting today. It was a BEAUTIFUL day in Gadsden. =)

Looking better already....

Picked out some beautiful turquoise fabric tonight. Andrew laughed at me when I told him I needed to get 1/4 yard of fabric at Hobby Lobby. =) He said "uh yes, I'd like uh 9 inches of fabric please"..haha...Turns out they can cut as little as 1/8 yard =)

I just hammered push pins inside the frame to hold the fabric in.

Here is a pic of me using fabric tape to stick down the bottom piece. (I can't sew) =) 

Voila!!

Just lift the flap to adjust the thermostat! 

 Easy, improvement! =)
